“That’s a tough one. I’m probably putting Steve Smith at the top of the tree. All four are getting in my team, there is no doubt about it, they can bat anywhere they want. Kane Williamson’s record’s phenomenal. I think he scored 6 hundreds in his last 8 or 10 outings. Virat Kohli across all three formats is the best player but in Test I probably got Steve Smith number one and then take your pick for two three four. Virat Kohli will be number one across all three formats if I could pick only one player,” said Clarke.
